SHORT PRESENTATION OF THE COMPANY

Inštitut za urbano ekonomiko d.o.o. (Institute for Urban Economics Ltd.), IUE d.o.o. in short, was founded in 2003. Sole shareholder of the Institute is MSc. Milena Tržan. It is a specialized company that deals primarily with the economics of land development, both in terms of investors, as well as in terms of the wider community - counties and State. In 2011 the company expanded the scope of work on architectural design.
Direction of development of the Institute is the uptake of complex projects with higher added value. For complex projects, the company includes contractual partners with complementary skills.
The company collaborates with major Slovenian investors, such as: BTC, Hypo Group, SPAR, TUS, TOP DOM, iPROJEKT Ltd., and relevant departments of municipalities of Ljubljana, Piran, Koper, Kranj, Domzale, Logatec, Nazarje, etc.

Continuous professional development in the areas of urban economics, urban planning (urbanism) and architecture, collaboration with leading external colleagues and our extensive experience, provide our clients a suitable basis for making the right business decisions in the areas of planning and investment.
We advise investors on the quickest possible route to obtaining a building permit and optimizing costs before construction even begins. We increase building land value by editing the documentation for their public utilities.
We advise counties on establishing a friendly environment for investment and on optimizing regulations governing the duties of investors before investing in real estate.
We also have experiences of public-private partnership in investments, particularly in communal equipping of building properties.
